550K SERIES
Emerson Premier Pro 550K Pots
In late 2025, Slash started using our 500K pots on tour—and loved them.
But for some of his darker guitars, he wanted just a bit more clarity and openness… without losing the weight or character of the instrument.
That’s where the idea for 550K came from.
Why 550K?
- 500K → warm, balanced, familiar
- 1 Meg → brighter, more HiFi, sometimes too thin
550K sits right in between.
It can add:
- More clarity and air
- Better note definition
- Without sacrificing low-end punch or midrange feel
Not a drastic change—just the right amount.
What You’ll Notice
- Your tone stays alive when rolling back volume
- Chords feel less congested under gain
- High end is clear, not harsh
500K = classic
550K = classic, opened up

The same components and care that go into Slash’s gear go into yours.
You’re not choosing quality—you’re choosing tonal preference.
If your guitar already sounds great—but you want a little more:
- More clarity
- More definition
- More usable top end
550K gets you there—without changing what you love.
More openness. Same Emerson soul.
